The most important thing to understand about the Vital Reaction 3000mL.

The Vital Reaction 3000mL is marketed as a "3000 mL/minute" hydrogen inhaler. This figure appears prominently on the product page and in all marketing material.

Their own published product manual tells a different story.

From the Vital Reaction Clinical Hydrogen Inhaler Manual — published at vital-reaction.com:

"Hydrogen Output: up to 600 ml/min"

The 3000 mL/minute figure refers to total gas flow — hydrogen and oxygen combined — through the humidifier bottle delivery system. The actual hydrogen output from the machine is up to 600 ml/min.

This is not unusual in the hydrogen inhaler category — total gas flow and pure H₂ output are frequently conflated. What is unusual is the scale of the difference: a factor of five between the marketed figure (3,000 ml/min) and the published manual specification (600 ml/min pure H₂ output).

The QY-A3000 publishes both figures clearly:

  • Total output: 3,000 ml/min
  • Pure H₂ output: 2,000 ml/min

At 2,000 ml/min pure H₂, the QY-A3000 delivers 3.3× the pure hydrogen output of the Vital Reaction 3000mL at its published manual figure of 600 ml/min.

Understanding the output difference — why it matters.

The gap between 600 ml/min and 2,000 ml/min pure H₂ is not a minor specification difference. It is a factor of 3.3 — the QY-A3000 produces more than three times the pure hydrogen output of the Vital Reaction 3000mL at its published manual specification.

What this means in practice:

Session duration: At 600 ml/min pure H₂, a 60-minute session delivers 36,000 ml (36 litres) of pure hydrogen. At 2,000 ml/min pure H₂, the same 60-minute session delivers 120,000 ml (120 litres) of pure hydrogen. The QY-A3000 delivers 3.3× the hydrogen volume per session.

Research protocol alignment: Published peer-reviewed research on hydrogen inhalation uses specific H₂ concentrations and delivery rates. A protocol designed around 2,000 ml/min pure H₂ cannot be replicated on a machine delivering 600 ml/min. Output level matters for protocol fidelity.

Multi-user capability: The QY-A3000 has three independent outlets — three users can run simultaneous sessions. The Vital Reaction 3000mL does not publish simultaneous user capability.

The "3000 mL" in the Vital Reaction product name refers to total gas flow — not pure hydrogen output. Buyers comparing machines on the basis of this figure are not comparing like for like.

Independent testing — what it looks like.

FCC Part 15 Subpart B testing for electromagnetic compliance is conducted in a fully equipped RF-shielded anechoic chamber. The photograph below shows the QY-A3000 undergoing radiated emission testing at the Shenzhen LST Technology facility in May 2025 — calibrated Rohde & Schwarz receivers, ETS-LINDGREN antennas, professional-grade anechoic chamber with RF-absorbing foam treatment.

Vital Reaction publishes no equivalent testing documentation.

On the warranty — the one area where Vital Reaction has an advantage.

Vital Reaction's 365-day warranty is longer than our 12-month standard warranty. This is the one specification where the Vital Reaction 3000mL has a clear advantage — and we state it directly.

They also offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee which we do not match on the same terms.

Our position on warranty:

The QY-A3000 carries a 10,000-hour rated stack life. At 2 hours of daily use — 13.6 years of operational life before the cell reaches its rated end-of-life.

The 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects in the first year of operation. After that, the machine runs on engineering, not promises. A correctly manufactured PEM/SPE cell at 10,000 hours rated life does not require a 365-day warranty to demonstrate quality — the stack life rating is the quality statement.

That said: if warranty length is a primary decision criterion for you — Vital Reaction's 365-day coverage is longer than ours. We think the stack life rating is the more meaningful number for long-term ownership, but we respect that buyers weigh these differently.

Stack life and certification figures describe hardware engineering and manufacturing quality — not medical or therapeutic status.

On pricing — and what the Vital Reaction 3000mL actually costs.

The Vital Reaction 3000mL is currently listed at $5,877 USD. The original listed price was $9,796 USD.

The $9,796 original price creates an anchor — the buyer perceives $5,877 as a significant saving from a high original price.

Two questions worth asking:

Was the machine ever sold at $9,796? Search for price history on Google Shopping, Wayback Machine or price tracking tools. An original price that was never genuinely offered is a manufactured anchor, not a genuine discount.

How long has the "sale" been running? A sale that runs for months or years is not a sale — it is the actual price. The $5,877 figure should be evaluated as the real price without reference to the $9,796 anchor.

At $5,877 USD, the Vital Reaction 3000mL delivers up to 600 ml/min pure H₂ with no published certifications, no published stack life and no published simultaneous user count.

At $5,697 USD, the QY-A3000 delivers 2,000 ml/min pure H₂ — 3.3× more — with CE, RoHS, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification, a 10,000-hour rated stack life, three simultaneous users and a built-in sterilisation lamp.

The QY-A3000 is $180 less. The specification advantage is significant. The decision is straightforward on published figures.

Which machine is right for you.

Choose the QY-A3000 if:

  • — Published pure H₂ output matters to your protocol
  • — You want verifiable certification documentation
  • — You need three simultaneous users from one machine
  • — Long stack life and continuous operation are priorities
  • — You want direct price without anchor pricing
  • — Free US delivery with duties included is important

Consider the Vital Reaction 3000mL if:

  • — A 365-day warranty and 60-day satisfaction guarantee are your primary decision criteria
  • — You prefer an established US-based brand with US support
  • — The 600 ml/min pure H₂ output is sufficient for your personal protocol

Need twice the QY-A3000 output?

The QY-F6000 H6 Pro™ delivers 4,000 ml/min pure H₂ — 6.7× the Vital Reaction 3000mL's published manual output — with 7-stage steam and water separation, dual membrane choice (German PEM or DuPont N115) and the same five certifications.

At $10,500 USD with free worldwide delivery and duties included.

Our recommendation.

On published specifications, the QY-A3000 delivers 3.3× the pure hydrogen output of the Vital Reaction 3000mL at $180 less — with more published certifications, a 10,000-hour rated stack life and three simultaneous users.

The only specification where the Vital Reaction 3000mL has an advantage is warranty length — 365 days vs 12 months.

For buyers whose primary criteria are published output, certification depth and specification transparency — the QY-A3000 is the stronger machine at the lower price.
