Certifications

Both carry CE, FCC, RoHS and ISO 9001 / ISO 13485-aligned manufacturing. Certifications describe hardware and manufacturing standards, not therapeutic status.

Maintenance considerations

Both use a 2 L purified-water reservoir and the same cell-rinse cadence. Use distilled or RO water. Replace cannulas on the schedule in the manual.

Model-specific documentation

Check the named-model laboratory report

Report LH2025050017 covers HERO Inhaler 900, 1200, 1500, 2000 and Pro 3000. Check the measured outlet and test conditions; do not extend results to other models or untested flow rates.

Mixed-gas and alkaline devices do not publish equivalent purity documentation — PEM is the only category with independently verified purity evidence.

Certifications, purity figures and engineering specifications describe hardware and manufacturing quality. Products are sold as general wellness devices, not FDA-approved — not medical devices, not TGA registered, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Frequently asked questions

Should beginners skip straight to a high-output machine?
Usually no. Most first-time users overspecify. A quieter mid-output machine you actually run every day beats a high-output machine that sits unused.
How long until I should think about upgrading?
Most HERO Inhaler 900 and HERO Inhaler 1200 buyers stay on the same machine indefinitely. People move up when they add users, move into a clinic / studio context, or shift to bathing.
What about a hydrogen bath machine as a starter?
If your primary interest is bathing, start with the HERO Bath or the HERO Bath instead. See the Hydrogen Bath Machines pillar for the full reasoning.
Is a Y connector necessary for one person?
No — but it's included on both machines and lets you combine the H₂ and O₂ streams into one nasal cannula, which most solo users prefer.

We Build the Equipment. You Make the Decision.

This category has a real trust problem — overstated claims, high-pressure sales, machines with no independent verification behind them. We're not adding to that. We build hydrogen systems using transparent construction and natural materials. Consult each product's specifications and supporting reports for gas purity and composition. Whether hydrogen inhalation is right for you is a decision to make with your own research and your own doctor — not something we're going to try to convince you of.
