Our verdict

Compare HERO equipment specifications, documentation and warranty terms.

Where they meet — and where they part

Key similarities

  • All four machines support couple use — inhalation via Y connector, bath via shared fill
  • All carry the same hardware certification stack
  • All four ship with regional delivery under the shipping policy and a 24-month warranty

Key differences

  • Inhalation: HERO Inhaler 1200 is the quietest; HERO Inhaler 2000 has more headroom for longer / higher-flow
  • Bathing: HERO Bath uses in-water hydrogenation; HERO Bath uses gas diffusion through the bath
  • Couples bathing run sessions back-to-back in the same fill; couples inhalation runs concurrently
Buying advice

Which one fits you?

Most couples (inhalation)

HERO Inhaler 1200 — quietest, easiest to live with, comfortable two-user sessions via the included Y connector.

Active couples / longer sessions

HERO Inhaler 2000 — more output for longer evening sessions or back-to-back two-user use.

Couples bathing

HERO Bath (continuous in-water hydrogenation) or HERO Bath (gas diffusion bath system) — both sustain dissolved hydrogen across a full bath share.

Certifications

All recommended machines carry CE, FCC, RoHS and ISO 9001 / ISO 13485-aligned manufacturing. Certifications describe hardware and manufacturing, not therapeutic status.

Maintenance considerations

Inhalation machines: keep the reservoir on distilled or RO water and follow the cell-rinse cadence in the manual. Bath machines: clean the diffuser between sessions per the manual and drain the water trap weekly under regular two-user use.

Model-specific documentation

Check the named-model laboratory report

Report LH2025050017 covers HERO Inhaler 900, 1200, 1500, 2000 and Pro 3000. Check the measured outlet and test conditions; do not extend results to other models or untested flow rates.

Mixed-gas and alkaline devices do not publish equivalent purity documentation — PEM is the only category with independently verified purity evidence.

Certifications, purity figures and engineering specifications describe hardware and manufacturing quality. Products are sold as general wellness devices, not FDA-approved — not medical devices, not TGA registered, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Frequently asked questions

Can two people share a hydrogen bath in the same fill?
Yes — the dedicated bath machine sustains dissolved hydrogen across the bath, so the second bather enters similar conditions to the first as long as the second session follows promptly.
Do we need two cannulas?
Yes for concurrent two-user inhalation. The dual-cannula accessory plus the included Y connector lets two people share one machine.
Is the HERO Inhaler 1200 enough output for two users?
Yes — 1200 ml/min total flow (800 ml/min pure H₂) supports comfortable two-user sessions. The HERO Inhaler 2000 adds headroom but isn't required.
Can we combine an inhaler and a bath machine?
Many couples do — inhalation on weekdays, a hydrogen bath on weekends. See the Comparison Centre and the Hydrogen Bath Machines pillar.

We Build the Equipment. You Make the Decision.

This category has a real trust problem — overstated claims, high-pressure sales, machines with no independent verification behind them. We're not adding to that. We build hydrogen systems using transparent construction and natural materials. Consult each product's specifications and supporting reports for gas purity and composition. Whether hydrogen inhalation is right for you is a decision to make with your own research and your own doctor — not something we're going to try to convince you of.
