Takadyn Oxy-Hydrogen Inhaler vs QY-A3000: A Straightforward Comparison

Some inhalation devices produce a 2:1 hydrogen-oxygen mixture — the natural ratio that results from electrolysing water without separating the two output streams. This mixture is sometimes called oxyhydrogen, HHO or "Brown's Gas".

Other devices, including the QY-A range, use a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) architecture that isolates the hydrogen stream from the oxygen stream at the cell level. Only pure H₂ is delivered to the user; the oxygen is vented separately.
