Range Comparison

Every machine we sell beats InhaleH2 — on price and on real hydrogen output.

Our $1,795 entry-level P58 alone delivers more real, pure hydrogen per minute than InhaleH2's $6,499 USD device at its maximum setting. Our flagship QY-A3000 delivers over 4× the hydrogen, at roughly a third of the price.

Full numbers, sources, and the exact math below. Nothing here is asserted — it's all shown and checkable.

The headline number

InhaleH2 ($6,499 USD) delivers between 12 and 480 ml/min of pure H₂, depending on the hydrogen concentration set on its constant 11.6–12 L/min gas + air stream. Our entry P58 ($1,795 USD) delivers up to 1,000 ml/min of pure H₂ at its maximum setting — more than double InhaleH2's ceiling, at roughly a quarter of the delivered price.

Every machine in our inhaler range — from the P58 up to the flagship QY-A3000 ($5,695 USD) — exceeds InhaleH2's 480 ml/min ceiling, and every model comes in below InhaleH2's $6,499 USD price. The QY-A3000 delivers 2,000 ml/min pure H₂ — more than 4× InhaleH2's maximum output — for around $800 less.

This is not a claim about wellness outcome, safety or product quality. It is a straight read of the two spec sheets.

How InhaleH2's pure-H₂ figure is calculated

InhaleH2 publishes its total gas + air output and adjustable hydrogen concentration in its own official user manual. The pure-H₂ figure is not published directly — it is derived from those two numbers.

Gas + air output rate: 11.6–12 L/min (constant airflow). Hydrogen concentration range: adjustable 0.1% to 4.0%.

Low setting: 12,000 × 0.1% = 12 ml/min pure H₂. Maximum setting: 12,000 × 4.0% = 480 ml/min pure H₂.

Warranty — a point in InhaleH2's favour

For balance: InhaleH2 publishes a 3-year warranty on their direct device. The Hydrogen Machines standard warranty is 12 months. That is a genuine advantage for InhaleH2 and worth weighing alongside output and price when deciding what matters most for your use case.

The rest of the comparison — pure H₂ output per minute and delivered price — favours the Hydrogen Machines range at every price point. Warranty length favours InhaleH2.

Inhalation only — no hydrogen water function

InhaleH2's published specifications and official user manual confirm this is an inhalation-only device — there is no hydrogen water or drinking-water generation function. Their distilled-water requirement is solely to feed the internal PEM electrolysis stack, not to produce drinkable hydrogen water.

If you want both molecular hydrogen inhalation and hydrogen-infused drinking water in a single machine, our W30 range delivers both in one unit; InhaleH2 does not offer this dual function at all. See the W30 product page for the full spec: https://hydrogenmachines.com.au/products/w30.

Two different design philosophies

InhaleH2's design intent is a low hydrogen concentration blended into a much larger constant air stream, adjustable between 0.1% and 4.0%. That is a valid approach and this page is not a judgement of it.

The Hydrogen Machines range is designed for high-purity, high-flow direct inhalation via nasal cannula — pure H₂ measured in hundreds to thousands of millilitres per minute rather than as a fractional concentration of a much larger diluted stream.

The comparison below is about output volume of pure hydrogen per minute, and delivered price. Nothing else.

Setup & daily operation

Per InhaleH2's own official user manual, first use requires a multi-hour warm-up cycle before the device may be operated, along with multi-part assembly of the hose, breathing bag, mask valve and mask itself. Firmware updates rely on a WiFi connection, and the water tank must be filled with distilled water kept below 5 ppm TDS. Ongoing upkeep includes a HEPA filter change roughly every six months and a full water drain and refill every 30 to 60 days. The same manual documents eight distinct warning or error states the user may need to diagnose.

The Hydrogen Machines range is built for simpler operation: fill the reservoir, connect the cannula, and start the session. No mandatory warm-up before first use, no breathing-bag assembly, no WiFi dependency for firmware, and no fixed HEPA-replacement cadence. Standard tap or filtered water is fine for the reservoir; distilled is optional, not required.

This is a difference in operational overhead, not a claim about safety or efficacy. Buyers who value the mask-and-bag delivery format may consider the extra setup a reasonable trade; buyers who want to sit down and use the machine will likely prefer the simpler path.
