What to look for in a hydrogen inhaler.
Four things determine whether a hydrogen inhaler is worth owning — and whether it is appropriate for the UK market.
Electrolysis technology
The only production method worth buying is PEM/SPE — Proton Exchange Membrane / Solid Polymer Electrolyte. It splits purified water at the proton level and keeps hydrogen and oxygen in completely separate streams. Avoid machines using alkaline or lye electrolytes — they introduce contaminants into the gas stream, require corrosive chemicals to operate, and create a servicing dependency. Every machine in our range uses PEM/SPE exclusively.
Gas purity
Look for 99.99% pure H₂ on the hydrogen outlet. This figure comes from the membrane design itself — not a downstream filter. If a specification sheet does not state a purity figure, that number is probably one the seller does not want you to see.
CE certification
CE marking confirms a machine meets EU safety, health and environmental protection standards — the baseline requirement for any electronic wellness device sold into the UK and European markets. Our QY-A1200 carries CE alongside FCC, RoHS, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 — the fullest certification stack available on any hydrogen inhaler at direct price.
Certified flow rates
Flow rate is stated in ml/min and should be a certified figure — not an estimate. Our range runs from 1,000 ml/min pure H₂ (P58) to 1,800 ml/min total output (QY-A1800). Be cautious of machines quoting combined H₂+O₂ output as pure H₂ — the pure H₂ figure is always two-thirds of the combined total in a correctly separated 2:1 system.

PEM/SPE electrolysis — how it works.
Water electrolysis produces hydrogen and oxygen in a fixed 2:1 molecular ratio. The PEM membrane keeps both gas streams physically separated inside the machine — the hydrogen outlet delivers pure H₂, the oxygen outlet delivers pure O₂. You choose how to use them:
Hydrogen only
Cannula on the hydrogen outlet. Pure H₂ at the rated flow.
Combined H₂+O₂ (2:1)
Y-connector joins both outlets at the cannula. Full combined flow, naturally balanced ratio. Y-connector included.
Two users, one machine
Dual cannula splits the hydrogen stream. Two people, one session. Available on selected models.
No lye. No contaminants. No consumables beyond distilled water and occasional cannula replacement.
Buying from the UK — what you need to know.
Delivery to the United Kingdom
We ship door-to-door tracked to all UK addresses including Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands. Typical delivery is 10–14 business days from dispatch. Duties and taxes are prepaid before dispatch in most cases — the price you see is the price you pay at checkout. Where duties cannot be prepaid, they will be collected by the carrier on arrival and we will advise you at checkout.
CE certification and UK compliance
All machines in the range carry CE certification, confirming compliance with EU safety, health and environmental protection directives. Post-Brexit, CE marking remains widely accepted for goods imported into Great Britain under current UKCA transitional arrangements. Regulatory status in the United Kingdom
Hydrogen Machines products are general wellness devices. Molecular hydrogen inhalation is not currently licensed as a medical treatment by the MHRA. Our products make no claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Hydrogen gas is recognised as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the US FDA. We encourage you to conduct your own research and consult a qualified health professional before starting any new wellness routine.
Warranty and returns
Every machine carries a 12-month manufacturer warranty and a 30-day return window from the day it arrives. Warranty claims and returns are handled directly — no third-party service loop. UK buyers are responsible for return shipping costs on change-of-mind returns. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.
